Electricity distributors
We’re contracted by large electricity distributors to complete both ongoing maintenance work and specific projects. Our reliability and commitment to safety make us a trusted choice and awarded service provider. Our work includes:
- Patrolling and maintaining the streetlight network.
- Conducting regular safety inspections on streetlights.
- Constructing new streetlight infrastructure, as well as replacing or repairing damaged lights.
- Reconfiguring & constructing low voltage (LV) & high voltage (HV) electricity networks, both overhead and underground.
Local government
We work with local councils to help them manage their responsibilities in the street lighting and electrical network. Our work for local councils includes:

Public facility providers
Sporting facilities, shopping centres, hospitals, universities and schools all have their own internal streetlight system to maintain. These lights need to be fully operational to help ensure the safety of the visiting public after dark. Facility managers also have the additional responsibility of making sure that each light pole is stable, secure and safe. Our work for facility managers includes:
- Monitoring and maintaining the streetlight network.
- Conducting regular safety inspections on streetlights.
- Constructing new streetlight infrastructure, also replacing/repairing damaged lights.

Developers
Residential and industrial property developers are often required to construct the street lighting and electricity supply network for their development. Intrinsic Energy Solutions works with developers on both small and large scale projects. We can ensure the lighting and electrical network is in place when it’s needed, avoiding project delays. Our work for developers includes:
- Constructing new streetlight infrastructure.
